Things are hotting up for what promises to be an awesome musical feast at The Pub With No Beer Brewery Festival being held this October long weekend at Taylors Arm, with the artist line-up finalised and tickets now on sale.
All profits from ticket sales will go towards building a much needed Cancer Resource Centre for the Nambucca region. More than $750,000 is required to build the Cancer Resource Centre in the next 2-3 years. The Centre will be an important one-stop shop for people of the Nambucca Valley and beyond, providing information on cancer and serving as a base for cancer support groups and community fundraising events.
The Pub With No Beer Brewery Festival will be held on Saturday 30 September with a day-long, star-studded concert. While local acts will showcase their talents at the Brewery across the October long weekend, the fundraiser concert will be the highlight. The headline acts will hit the stage for the Festival concert on Saturday from 3pm.
The final line-up offers something for everyone with:
- 3:00pm-3:30pm Anthony Snape
- 3:45pm-4:30pm Bourbon Street
- 5:00pm-6:15pm After The Fall
- 6:45pm-8:00pm Rose Tattoo
- 8:30pm-9:45pm Hoodoo Gurus

“It’s time for the North Coast community to get behind this fantastic cause and enjoy a stellar line-up of renowned Aussie bands,” says Murray Howe, owner of The Pub With No Beer Brewery. “This is the first of the revitalised The Pub With No Beer Brewery Festivals, and we want it to go off with a ‘bang’!
“So we’re urging everyone to come along, to bring their friends and hit the target of 10,000 people and $350,000 in funds raised for this very important community health project. It will go a long way towards achieving the long-held vision of the Cancer Resource Centre.”
The Pub With No Beer Brewery is already gearing up for the Festival, and has secured crucial sponsorship from Country Energy which will provide a generator and erect floodlights in the reserve adjoining the Brewery. Murray Howe’s own ‘Murray’s Craft Brewing Co.’ has committed $10,000 in funding for promotion of the event.
“We’re calling on other community-minded local businesses to get behind the Festival and support this important regional health initiative,” says Mr Howe. “We’d love to hear from organisations that can supply people and services to help make the Festival a huge success.”
The Pub With No Beer Brewery Festival will run from Saturday 30 September till Monday 2 October, with a range of family activities, local and guest bands over the weekend.
Free camping is available on-site at Taylors Arm.
